Atlanta, GA, March 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Digital Projection International (DPI), an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high-performance projection systems, recently expanded their technical services department with two key position placements. Ten-year DPI veteran Mark Fuell has been appointed to the newly created position of Field Engineering Manager. Additionally, Troy Cobb has been hired as DPI’s Technical Services Manager, where he has already begun to operate the schedule and workflow of the various technical services divisions within the company. These appointments are the latest in a recent round of infrastructure investment that includes numerous new hires, operational systems, as well as the significant expansion of DPI's US headquarters.

Having previously served as Technical Services Manager for DPI, Mark Fuell will both oversee DPI’s US-based field technicians as well as participate in on-site client service calls as Field Engineering Manager. With ten years of experience supporting DPI customers and products, Fuell is a tremendous resource for the company and its clients. Fuell has already commenced working in this new, highly visible role.

Troy Cobb brings over 24 years of experience with electrical and technical systems to DPI’s Technical Services Manager position. Having previously worked in technical service positions with the United States Marine Corps, DPI long-time industry partner Mechdyne Corporation and with another manufacturer in the projection industry, Cobb has already begun to contribute his expertise to DPI’s expanding team.

Mike Akridge, VP of Operations for DPI, commented, “With the welcome addition of Troy Cobb as Technical Services Manager, DPI now has the ability to expand our service both in-house and in the field. Our steady growth means we’re responsible for supporting more and more customers each year. The addition of Mark and Troy to their new positions enables the entire company to move forward with the same personal and expert customer support we have always prioritized as a company cornerstone.”
