Datalight File System Driver Now Available for Microsoft Windows 7: Connects Reliable Embedded Device Data to Desktop Systems
Datalight has release a new version of its desktop driver for Windows.
Bothell, WA, March 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Datalight announced today the release of a new version of Reliance Windows Driver, a set of installable drivers which make data from devices using its acclaimed Reliance and Reliance Nitro file systems exchangeable with computers running Windows Vista, Windows XP and now 32-bit Windows 7 desktop operating systems.
Device manufactures, who choose Reliance or Reliance Nitro for superior performance and reliability, can now provide their customers the ability to easily share data from their device to their desktop. In addition to supporting the latest version of Microsoft’s operating system, these new versions allow users to adjust transaction settings to improve performance.
“We are pleased to extend support for the Reliance file system family beyond the embedded device operating systems and onto Windows 7, giving users a high-reliability file system choice,” said Datalight Director of Engineering, Ken Whitaker. “Now, instead of having to compromise reliability to have exchangeability, device designers can have the best of both worlds.”
The Reliance Windows Drivers are available immediately for personal use as a no-cost download from Datalight.com. Distribution licenses for the drivers are also available from Datalight one of its reseller partners world-wide.
