Ellen Allen is working on her debut novel tentatively named, If you change the Words you change the meaning: An addicts struggle to let go, is a study in human attraction and reactions when facing difficult choices, decisions and questions about the importance of others in their life. “You can’t sugar coat the real issues by prettying up the words,” says author Ellen Allen. She keeps it real but in the most unexpected way. From the perspective of the co-depended, author Ellen Allen tells us a story that has been seen all too many times, while she uses twists of humanity, humbleness, and humor to tell this story.
A native New Orleanian, Ellen Allen, an outstanding and outspoken talent gets inspiration from her nurturing ways as a mother, wife and friend; she is fervent about writing. Writing fiction and poetry are her passions. She attended public school and excelled in Literature and reading. She has a passion for self expression through words both spoken and unspoken. She grew up an only child, raised by a wonderful mother, who fueled her creative writing.
