DirectRooms.com – Jersey Lines Up a Trail of Jazz Talent Between 1 and 3 April 2011
DirectRooms.com reveals that Jersey is set to stage a festival of jazz featuring a collection of local and established players to form an entire weekend of jazz music.
Jersey, United Kingdom, March 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Stretching across the weekend of 1st to 3rd April 2011, Jersey Jazz 2011 will be presenting many of the finest acts from the genre with six bands taking to the stage with their repertoire of classics.
Fans can expect to hear from the likes of the Blam Quartet, The Gibson Brothers and the renowned melodies of Linley Weir. Accompanying them throughout the event will be the combined talents of the Melody Players, Brian White and not forgetting the uplifting sounds of Tom Macleod as he plays alongside Azzedine.
The six acts will create a trail around St Helier in Jersey, taking in a variety of venues including pubs and bars although the Mayfair hotel will host live jazz on every night. Fans can catch in excess of 17 hours of music as the bands play at the four venues and tickets can be purchased offering entry into all of the sessions.
For people staying in a hotel in Jersey looking to complete the weekend could also try the Sunday lunch at the Mayfair which will be accompanied by yet more jazz.
