Comedy Show to Focus on "Single's Life"
Six single comedians - some happy, some miserable, some in between will tell their stories of being single, dating, fighting, in-laws, breakups, divorce and more. After listening to these losers your life won't seem so bad.
Pleasanton, CA, February 19, 2007 --(PR.com)-- John DeKoven, Chief Executive Comic, of Laugh-A-Lot Productions announced today the opening date for their newest production entitled "Being Single CAN be a Laughing Matter".
"The concept of the show came up when brainstorming one day" said DeKoven. "There are a lot of themed shows these days that seem to do well and it just popped in my head that it could be fun to have a show with a "single's humor theme".
DeKoven is quick to point out that although the show will have a single's theme it will not be a single's event. Everyone is welcome whether single and looking, single and not looking or in a relationship. Pretty much anyone will be able to relate to most of the material. While the show will have the single theme not every joke will be about being single. According to DeKoven he said that not only would this be hard to do, but it could lead to a lot of repetition of the same joke premises.
At this time Mr. DeKoven is single himself and will be one of the comedians in the show. He had a divorce that took longer then the marriage itself. Also featured in the show are; Sandy Stec who says she's dated enough losers to last a lifetime; Moshe Kasher who lives alone, desperately alone; Candy Churilla who lives in sin... by herself; Justin McClure who says he's smart because he's from Georgia; and Susan Maletta who lives with her two children and five cats.
Future plans include partnering with some single events companies on special events, bringing the tour to different venues, and merchandise marketing.
