Michael Angelo's Pizza Brings Home Gold Again

Kenton, OH, March 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Brittany Rowe, Kitchen Manager at Michael Angelo's Pizza in Kenton, OH, brought home a Gold Medal from the World Pizza Games in Las Vegas, NV. Beating out competitors from around the county and the world, Brittany took 1st place in the Fastest Dough category and became the 2nd of only two women in the United States to hold World Champion Pizza titles, both of which were from Michael Angelo's Pizza. With a time of 55 seconds in the finals, Brittany easily beat out the other finalist including competitors from Italy and Japan.

Also competing in the Largest Dough Stretch, Brittany narrow missed a Bronze medal by a fraction of an inch and captured 4th place.

The World Pizza Games is an international pizza competition held in conjunction with the International Pizza Expo, the world's largest pizza show, held each year in Las Vegas, NV. Competitors compete in categories such as the Largest Dough Stretch, Fastest Dough, Longest Spin, Fastest Pizza Box Folding, and Freestyle Acrobatics.
