Gold Coast, Australia, March 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Between 16th and 20th April 2011, the Australian Wakeboard Nationals is the main event competitors need to win to qualify for the national team and compete for Australia in the World Championships in Italy.
Australia has a well deserved reputation for the most accomplished riders in the sport with a number of world champions including Dean Smith, Elliot Digby, Cobe France and Tony Iacconi. They’re all due to be competing at this year’s event and are going to be joined by the world’s current top seeds Amber Wing and Harley Clifford.
With such an impressive line up of talent Australia has a good chance to go all the way in the World Championships and spectators can see all of these skilled riders at the Gold Coast Marine Stadium.
