"Nice Parking, Dude," the innovative new approach to coping with idiots in the parking lot. More than the usual novelty "fake parking tickets" available online, NPD is a sophisticated data warehouse which allows its users the opportunity to place a citation on an offender's vehicle and then enter a message - of any kind - into a database for them to read. This is the first application of its kind.

Nice parking dude is an interactive website that allows participants in any city, state or country to “cite” bad parkers then, anonymously, leave a message describing the angst they caused others due to their irreverence.

Nice Parking Dude is the brainchild of founder and web developer Eric Wayne Key who formulated the idea in the hotbed of bad parking, Marin County, California, a suburb of San Francisco. It was here in Marin that he was forced to constantly endure the worst in vehicular placement: double parking, the blatant misuse of handicapped spots & fire zones and the open disregard for the guidelines in the parking lot.
Well, the time had come…and enough was enough. Says Key, “We are taking the passive out of passive aggressive!”
Have you ever returned to the parking lot find your vehicle inaccessible because some person has decided to park six inches from your car door? Of course you have, and what did you do? You probably entered through the passenger's side, tucked your tail between your legs and drove off defeated because you didn't have the nerve to wait and confront that faceless ignoramus who had no idea what those slanted parallel lines meant anyways.
Now there is a tool that can be used to solve this age-old dilemma.
How does it work?
Users of the niceparkingdude.com website purchase a book of citations for about five dollars. When a sub-standard parking job is encountered, they simply leave a serialized citation on the person's vehicle. The CITER then goes to the website, enters the serial number from the citation and writes an anonymous note for the CITEE to read! The citation contains all the directions needed for the citee to visit the website, enter the serial number and read the sometimes lifechanging message left for them! There's not a more safe or fun way out there to share intimate feelings because the dude who can’t park never has to know who left them the citation!
Niceparkingdude.com is meant to be used in a fun and educational way. These not-so-subtle hints could and will eventually make a difference in stamping out bad parking, one idiot at a time!
