Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum TechTwilight Connects Families and High Tech Entrepreneurs
Ann Arbor, MI, March 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum is hosting TechTwilight, its third annual local tech event, on May 21 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. TechTwilight connects entrepreneurs, innovations and their families for an inspiring evening of fun.
“TechTwilight is a science fair for adults that provides local companies the opportunity to show off their inventions and innovations to their families and their community,” said Mel Drumm, executive director, Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum. “TechTwilight connects, engages and inspires local innovators and the next generation of innovators, creators, scientists, engineers, thinkers and dreamers. Adults and kids alike can find inspiration in the ingenuity and creativity of our region’s tech leaders.”
TechTwilight features dozens of innovative companies from throughout the region who will display fuel cells, video games and other interactive technologies. Entrepreneurs will be on hand to talk with families.
Family fun offered at TechTwilight includes live music from WhoaDoggie and The Chief Blues Officers. A museum-wide scavenger hunt for families will add to the evening’s fun. Refreshments will be served, including a special kids cafe dining area. Additional kids-only activities will be offered through supervised hands-on workshops.
Tickets for TechTwilight at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum are $25 for adults and $10 for children. Family ticket packages for two adults and two children are $50. Exhibitor and sponsorships opportunities for TechTwilight are also still available; all proceeds benefit the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum.
