BNI® Northeast Florida to Host Second Annual Golf Tournament
Proceeds will benefit Junior Achievement of North Florida.
Jacksonville, FL, March 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- BNI ® (Business Network International), the world’s largest business networking organization specializing in business referrals among members will host its second annual golf tournament on April 4, at The Palencia Club, in St. Augustine, Florida. The event will include a silent auction, lunch and networking. All proceeds raised will be donated to Junior Achievement of North Florida.
Junior Achievement of North Florida, is a non-profit organization that inspires and prepares young people to succeed in today’s global economy. From kindergarten through twelfth grade, Junior Achievement's programs provide financial literacy education experiences to students that are both unique and exciting, yet fully correlate with the requisite Sunshine State Standards.
"We are grateful for the support of our members and guests who will help make this tournament a success," says Lynne Coggin, Executive Director of BNI Northeast Florida. "Proceeds from this event will be donated to Junior Achievement of North Florida to continue their mission of educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.” Coggin adds, “We welcome the entire community of Northeast Florida to join us for a fun filled day that will support a worthwhile cause.”
The cost to participate in the tournament is $125 per player. The cost includes: continental breakfast, lunch and a golf cart. Gift bags will be given to all golfers as well as prizes for longest drive and closest to the hole. The schedule of events for the tournament is as follows:
Registration – 7:30 am
Golfers tee off – 8:30 am
Lunch and Silent Auction: 1:00 pm
For those interested in joining only the luncheon and networking portion of the event the cost is $35.
