Premier Test-Prep Now Available: National Massage Therapy Institute Adopts North Star Test-Prep Software
National Massage Therapy Institute Provides Students with New Test-Prep Software for National Exam
Philadelphia, PA, March 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- National Massage Therapy Institute (NMTI) will now provide its students with the premier test-prep course for the National Certification Exam in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork through North Star Learning as part of its core curriculum. North Star is a computer based on-line program that provides students with an opportunity to practice test-taking prior to sitting for the National Exam. This software presents practice exams in the format of the actual National Examination which will help reduce students’ test anxiety and improve overall test scores.
The National Director of Career Services and Retention, Scott Deidun, states that “The integration of the North Star test-prep software into our curriculum will be very beneficial to NMTI students. We cannot stress National Exam preparation enough to our students and North Star allows us to monitor our students’ progress and understanding, which will not only improve student test scores, but also help us to make adjustments to our program to ensure student success.”
National Massage Therapy Institute (NMTI) is dedicated to the success of its students, and encourages them to follow key aspects of the Think, Build, Live, Success Initiative; a unique part of the school’s curriculum. Think, Build, Live, Success is a three-part program that provides students with necessary life and career skills and breaks professional fulfillment down into manageable steps. NMTI aims to ensure students are prepared for the National Exam and in turn successful test takers, through the introduction of the North Star test-prep software.
NMTI President, Bob Cappel, discusses the importance of adding North Star’s test-prep software to the current curriculum stating, “This is just another step for us to support our students in preparing for the exam so that they can be certified upon graduation and capable of taking advantage of the massage therapy field’s growing job market.”
The North Star test-prep software will provide students with an understanding of their strengths and weaknesses so they will know where they need to improve. Multiple exams will be available to students, which exposes them to National Exam type questions and ensures that they are fully prepared when National Exam testing day arrives.
