Sarah Waskey of Welenken CPAS Named SMABA New Member of the Year

Louisville, KY, March 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Sarah J. Waskey, an audit supervisor with Welenken CPAs in Louisville, has been named the 2010 “New Member of the Year” by the St. Matthews Area Business Association (SMABA). She is also a new member of the 2011 SMABA Board of Directors.

Sarah joined Welenken CPAs in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky. She specializes in audits of nonprofit organizations, OMB A-133 audit requirements, exempt organization tax reporting, audits of non-publicly traded businesses, compilations and reviews, forensic accounting, agreed-upon procedures and consulting engagements.

In addition to SMABA, she is involved in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Real Estate Management – Kentucky Chapter 59. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Community Coordinated Child Care.
