Hollywood Actress Linda Blair & Helen Darras Need Your Charitable Contributions for an Emergency
Linda Blair, Helen Darras & the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation for Animal & Human Welfare need public donations to help support animal rescue efforts.
Los Angeles, CA, March 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Emergency Medical Donations Needed for the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation, as news announced today is due to the dire need of financial donations for help. There has been a recent rescue of a Mom and pups from one of the many city shelters. The wonderful Mom and babies have been in the quarantine area of the rescue operation and under observation since their arrival, as is done with every new dog that comes in to a shelter.
With just a few days away from allowing them to finally integrate with the rest of the foundation, it was noticed that two of the pups were becoming lethargic, which was also accompanied by blood expulsion. One pup also had a broken foot. Immediately contact was made with a Veterinarian who came and examined the sweet pups. As a precaution, he tested them for Parvo Virus and learned that both tests came back positive. These two sickly pups have been admitted to the Veterinary Hospital to undergo treatment. The rest of the pups and Mom are being tested to ensure they have not been infected as well.
As many already know, treating Parvo Virus is incredibly difficult, contagious and very expensive. Hopefully, since it was caught early, these two pups will survive and the rest of the family will be safe from harm. However, this can't be done without financial help from the public. Please consider making a much needed donation via PayPal to help with the care of this family in need. Also, as an alternative, a PayPal account isn't always needed. Just cut & paste the LBWF website to the browser box. Any amount, big or small, will help.

As always, Linda Blair, Helen Darras and the entire Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation Team give thanks to the public for all kindness and generosity during this current animal care crisis situation.
