FanReach Students Achieve Positive ROI from Facebook Marketing and Advertising
Three students of FanReach achieved positive Facebook marketing ROI for their businesses within weeks of starting the course.
Myrtle Beach, SC, March 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- FanReach CEO Brian Carter revealed this month in a blog post on SearchEngineJournal.com three small businesses that have achieved a positive Facebook Marketing and Advertising ROI.
"This may be the first public report of small business ROI from Facebook," says Carter. "Google searches don't turn up any other case studies. So this is pretty ground-breaking. This blog post was tweeted 334 times and shared on LinkedIn by 198 people, which shows it's important and impressive news to people in Social Media. "
Mark Ellingson runs a company called Baseball Roses that manufacturers and sells artificial roses made of real baseballs and softballs. "It took a little extra work to get Google Analytics to show all the sales from Facebook," he reports. "And we're getting a 400% ROI on our Facebook advertising spend. We spent $200 to get fans, and we've made close to $1,000 in revenue from them.
Jaryl LaMort sells plush vampire baby dolls on Vamplets.com. He spends $250 per month sending traffic directly to his site and gets $1000 per month back in sales.
Eliot Roberts of Rosehall Kennel breed and sell German Shepherd puppies. They've sold three puppies for $4,050 off an initial Facebook advertising investment of $61.32.
"Skeptics will say this is a small data set or that these are only small businesses," says Carter. "The point, to me, is that Facebook ROI is not impossible. These small business owners did it after taking a Facebook Marketing course that only taught them how to do advertising to get fans and how to engage with fans effectively. Nothing specific was taught about making sales online."
Facebook currently has more than 630MM users. Carter teaches Facebook marketing to hundreds of students in the FanReach Facebook Marketing and Advertising course at http://fanreach.net/.
