Free HR Services for Green Organizations: Annual Retensa Green Grant
Announcing the 2011 Retensa Green Grant, free HR Services designed to provide environmentally responsible organizations with a competitive workforce advantage.
New York, NY, March 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Retensa, a leader in employee retention and motivation, announces the launch of the second annual Retensa Green Grant. The grant offers a total of $30,000 in HR services to companies providing green services, creating green energy, and developing green products or food. The service awards enable organizations to grow in the green industry by implementing talent management best practices and increasing staff performance throughout the Employee Life Cycle.
Green companies need great employees to implement their vision and mission. Among high-growth organizations, 79% have difficulty finding qualified employees for high-skill and technical positions(i). Retensa will support green organizations to ensure the creativity, innovation, and growth with a highly engaged workforce, who can deliver 32-48% higher productivity(ii). Having talented, high-performing staff will help green companies achieve their business goals and environmental mission faster, with lower workforce costs.
Previous Retensa Green Grant winners include an eco-conscious construction company dedicated to using architectural salvage in Pennsylvania, an organization that provides sustainable wildlife solutions in California, a solar energy design and installation firm in Florida. These winners received free HR services including: recruitment strategies, employee motivation plans, organizational design, employee retention programs, and more.
Retensa recognizes that different sized companies have different sized needs. For that reason, the Retensa Green Grant offers three categories of HR consulting grants. Grants will be awarded to small, medium, and large organizations that meet the eligibility criteria and demonstrate real green impact. Eligible companies must be US-based, in operation for at least two years, have at least 10 employees, and generate 51%+ of revenue from green energy, products, or services. Companies must apply by April 30, 2011 to be considered. Complete details can be found on the Retensa Green Grant Website (http://www.greenbusinessgrant.com).
