The Double Duty Divas blog network and consulting firm will host the first conference ever geared specifically geared toward review bloggers, Reviewer's Retreat, at Great Wold Lodge, PA May 15-17, 2011.
Scranton, PA, March 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Great Wolf Lodge and Procter and Gamble Partner with the First Conference Geared Toward Bloggers in the “Review” Niche.
The Double Duty Divas, a blog network and consultation company, announced today it will host the first annual Reviewer’s Retreat blog conference. The sold out event will take place at the Great Wolf Lodge-Poconos, PA May 15-17, 2011.
A first of its kind, Reviewer’s Retreat pioneers the “review blog” conference niche focusing exclusively on issues geared toward bloggers spotlighting products and resources on their sites. Conference sessions include “Review Blogging 101,” “Brand/Blogger Relations,” and “Nuts and Bolts of Review Blogging.”
“We’re happy to partner with Great Wolf Lodge for this inaugural conference,” said Cecelia Mecca, Double Duty Divas Co-owner and editor of Cool Baby Kid. “Hailing from the Northeast Pennsylvania region myself, I’m excited to bring bloggers to the Pocono Mountains.”
Bridgette Duplantis of Experimental Mommy, Double Duty Diva co-owner, reiterates, “We feel that it is important to discuss the issues and challenges that bloggers face when working with brands in order to move the genre forward and improve credibility. Education is key.”
Thanks to Reviewer’s Retreat sponsors, the conference is poised to offer value for bloggers and companies alike as they navigate constantly evolving relationships.
"We truly value the thoughts and opinions of review bloggers as they are the ones with their finger on the pulse of what parents are looking for and need from a brand like ours. We're delighted to sponsor the first conference tailored specifically to them,” said John Brase, Marketing Director for Pampers.
“We’re thrilled to be a sponsor of Reviewer’s Retreat. This event is all about helping bloggers understand how to develop those relationships and use them to create compelling content for their readers,” said Courtney Velasquez, Community Director for Collective Bias.
“We are proud to be a Reviewer’s Retreat gold sponsor this year and look forward to making connections with new bloggers. Musselman’s understands the importance of engaging directly with consumers and the significance of bloggers in helping to build those ties,” said Laura Marshall, Musselman’s Assistant Marketing Manager.
“Ubisoft is delighted to support the bloggers of Reviewer’s Retreat as the Registration Suite Sponsor. We know that the best way to spread the word about our games is to let bloggers play – and love – them, and then tell all of their friends,” said Scott Fry, Ubisoft Associate PR Manager.
“We’re thrilled to support the first Reviewer’s Retreat,” said Trent Harrington, senior marketing manager, Pfister. “We’re truly looking forward to hearing directly from this important and influential group about the challenges they face, and their insights on brand-blogger relations. As we continue to engage bloggers and the landscape evolves, their insights will surely be invaluable.”
