Blue Springs Dental Practice Partners with Community Services League
Foster Dental Care to donate $3,000 to the Blue Springs location
Blue Springs, MO, March 17, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Even though the season of giving has long gone, the spirit has not left Foster Dental Care. In January 2011, Foster Dental Care partnered with the Community Services League (CSL) creating the Healthy Smiles for CSL campaign. For each new patient that visited the Blue Springs dental practice for a cleaning and exam, $25 went to CSL. The two month long Healthy Smiles for CSL campaign came to a close on Monday, February 28, 2011 and the results were tallied.
“Partnering with the Community Services League was a no brainer,” said Alan Foster, DDS. “The goal was to support a vital part of our community. There were a couple ways we wanted to do this. The first was to create awareness by informing and educating our patients and those who follow us through social media about CSL and all they do for Eastern Jackson County. The second was to get our patients and local community involved; knowing that their dental cleaning and exam was not only a direct benefit to their overall health, but it was a financial donation to CSL.”
On Thursday, March 17, 2011 Foster Dental Care will present a check at the Blue Springs CSL 200 SW 10th Street, for $3,000. This donation will directly benefit the Blue Springs location.
The Community Services League promotes self-sufficiency and provides resources to those in need in Eastern Jackson County. CSL is one of the largest human services providers in the five-county metro area and the only provider at many of its seven area locations.
