ICCC Award Nominations Due March 1, 2007

Toronto, Canada, February 21, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC), as part of its mandate, annually assumes the task of identifying and recognizing members of the Indo Canadian community who have made extraordinary contributions to Canada and to furthering Canada-India engagement.

The ICCC Awards are presented in 11 categories at the Annual Awards Gala held in June. After nominations are recieved, a thorough and exhaustive process helps determine the final Award Winners. Some ICCC Award Winners have also won recognition like the Order of Ontario and the Order of Canada.

In 2006, Prime Minister Stephen Harper was the Chief Guest at the Annual Awards Gala.

This year, the Annual Awards Gala is being held on June 16, 2007.

The deadline for submitting award nominations is March 1, 2007.

The President and Board of Directors of the ICCC encourage you to identify and nominate individuals in the following award categories: 

Lifetime/Outstanding Achievement Award
Humanitarian of the Year
Male Entrepreneur Award
Female Entrepreneur Award
Professional Male Award
Professional Female Award
Young Achiever's Award
Technology Achievement Award
Corporate Executive of the Year
