Former Moss Adams Wealth Advisors COO/CIO Mark Jaeger Joins Appropriate Balance

Bellevue, WA, March 17, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Appropriate Balance Financial Services, Inc. (ABFS) is pleased to announce that Mark Jaeger, CFP®, ChFC®, AIF® has joined the firm as its Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. In this role, Mr. Jaeger will be responsible for practice management, technology, finance and compliance. As a former Chief Investment Officer, he also adds significant depth and experience to the ABFS Investment Committee.

According to Bruce Yates, ABFS President, the firm is expanding its current client base, and Mr. Jaeger strengthens the management team leading the firm forward. Mr. Jaeger has over 30 years experience in the financial services and insurance industries. Recently, that included the role of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer for Moss Adams Wealth Advisors LLC. In that position, he was responsible for portfolio management, investment operations, compliance, technology and financial management for the firm. He was the chair of the Wealth Advisors Investment Committee and was the Investment Management & Consulting Technical Discipline Leader which set investment standards and policies for the firm.

Mr. Jaeger began his financial services career in Seattle after graduating from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Economics. He spent 15 years in the San Francisco Bay Area with a national insurance carrier before returning home to work for Moss Adams.

Mr. Jaeger is a Certified Financial Planner Practitioner (CFP®) and holds Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) professional designations. Mark also holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and NASAA Series 65 securities licenses.
