Planet Technologies Releases AgileGov; Free, Downloadable Templates Designed to Assist Federal Agencies with Open Government Transparency

Germantown, MD, March 17, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Planet Technologies, a Microsoft Gold Certified partner and leading IT consulting firm for the Federal Government, has created Agile Gov, a kit of free templates designed to assist government agencies comply with the Transparency and Open Government directive to provide easy access to information at all levels.

Available as a free download (http://agilegov.codeplex.com), the AgileGov solution allows agencies to communicate their internal processes, forms and status to the public using one of two templates - the civilian template or the Department of Defense (DoD) template. The civilian template can help state, local, and other civilian agencies with actions such as processing information release requests, badge requests, disclosures for lobbying and meetings with legislatures. The DoD template can help military units and services with Freedom of Information Act Requests, bid tracking, classified materials approval and more.
