Dana Cashwell Counters Traditional Thought with Her New Book ‘Let Your Women Keep Silent’
Even though it went against everything she had been taught on the subject, Dana Cashwell wrote ‘Let Your Women Keep Silent’ to help herself and others understand what the Bible really says about women in ministry.
Raleigh, NC, February 22, 2007 --(PR.com)-- ‘Let Your Women Keep Silent’ is a verse-by-verse Biblical guide to understanding what the Bible really says about female ordained ministers as well as what would happen if the women in the church actually “kept silent”. ‘Let Your Women Keep Silent’ is available for purchase now at www.lulu.com, with world wide distribution to retailers coming in the summer.
“Please don't misunderstand the purpose of this book. It is not, in any way, trying to downplay the importance of solid male leadership in the church,” said Dana Cashwell. “Nor is it simply trying to be "politically correct" or bow to any sort of liberal ideology. On the contrary, I wrote this book because I am a Bible literalist and my theological views are very conservative. I firmly believe in following biblical authority in all areas of life and doctrine is of the utmost importance. That being said, I also believe it is wrong, and even sinful, to bar genuinely gifted women from the ministry.”
