Box Tops for Education is a nationwide fundraising program for K-8 schools that encourages students to collect Box Tops off a variety of products from breakfast cereals to office supplies. Established by General Mills in 1996, the Box Tops for Education program has helped schools earn more than $340 million.

Brooklyn, NY, March 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- DGK Parochial School students are asking the community to get involved and help them raise money by clipping “Box Tops” from their favorite General Mills products.

America’s schools have earned more than $340 million through Box Tops for Education since the program started in 1996. Thousands of schools have used that cash to fill in gaps in school budgets and to purchase items such as computers, library books, art supplies, and playground equipment.

It’s so simple, clip the pink and blue Box Tops for Education coupons from participating products and mail them to: DGK Parochial School, ATTN: Box Tops Coordinator, 8502 Ridge Boulevard, Brooklyn, New York 11209.

School supporters can clip Box Tops coupons, valued at 10 cents, from hundreds of products, including Cheerios®, Pillsbury®, Yoplait®, Ziploc®, Kleenex®, Huggies®, Hefty®, Juicy Juice®, Hi-Liter®, and more.

The students at DGK hope to collect 10,000 box tops by June 1, 2011. They’ve already collected over 3500. With your help, they’ll reach their goal in no time!
