Media Genesis President Featured on Detroit 2020
Troy, MI, March 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Antoine Dubeauclard, president of the Internet services firm Media Genesis, was featured Wednesday, March 7 on ABC Channel 7’s Detroit 2020.
News Anchor Diana Lewis explored the modern melting pot, citing that “Here in Michigan, foreign born residents are six times more likely to start a high-tech firm than other residents.”
In this special report, Dubeauclard was highlighted as an example of what immigrants can contribute to Michigan’s economy. According to the report, Media Genesis employs around 60 people.
Dubeauclard, born in Canada and raised in France, came to the United States at the age of 12 or 13 with his parents. He said his family was seeking opportunity and “…the flexibility that this country offers in that context.”
Dubeauclard pointed out the benefits of doing business in Metro Detroit, when he said “It has a very technical skillset. We have people that have a comprehension of technical skills that I think we don’t even realize.”
Antoine owns Media Genesis with his partner, CEO Brad Frederick. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Troy, Michigan, Media Genesis has been developing and designing online technologies, from mobile technology to e-learning systems, since the Internet was in its infancy.
