Hathaway Breaks Ground on 100 Units in Atlanta
Atlanta, GA, March 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Hathaway Construction Services, Inc. commenced construction on The Gateway at East Point, a $13,000,000, 100 unit senior independent living community in East Point, Georgia. The project is owned by Prestwick Development Company, LLC.
The Gateway at East Point is well located at the corner of Cleveland Avenue and Norman Berry Drive, within a 1.7+/- acre site on the southwest side of Atlanta, Georgia. The senior independent living community is ideally located with excellent interstate exposure, within one mile to Interstate 85 and within close proximity to I-75, I-285 and I-20, offering convenient access in all directions. I-85 connects the site to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, less than 5 miles to the south. I-75 connects to Macon, 80 miles south and Chattanooga, 120 miles north. I-20 connects to Birmingham, 150 miles west and to Augusta, 150 miles east.
The project will consist of 100 affordable senior living units and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2012 and leasing will commence shortly thereafter.
