Birmingham, United Kingdom, February 23, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Innovative structural engineers, DTA Consultants, have outgrown their premises in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter and are moving to newly acquired offices nearby.
DTA Consultants moved into the Jewellery Quarter in 2001 and have expanded as Birmingham’s economy has grown. With clients in London, Manchester, Hull and Birmingham the need to move into larger offices provided an opportunity to move out of the city centre and region. But a commitment to Birmingham and the West Midlands left no doubt about the best location to operate from and resulted in the purchase of new premises in Birmingham’s city centre.
Founder and owner of DTA, Dave Tyson, commented, “Birmingham has helped us to grow into a successful company and the purchase of new premises in the heart of Birmingham was an obvious choice and is our way of saying thank you to Birmingham.
“We expect to continue to expand both locally and outside the region but we are totally committed to contributing to Birmingham’s continued growth and success.”
Dave Tyson puts the success of the company down to a highly skilled workforce that can solve the wide range of structural and civil engineering problems brought to them by leading architects and construction specialists. The company invests heavily in ensuring that staff are continually trained in the latest techniques and technologies and has strong links with a number of universities nationwide.
Dave Tyson continued, “Staff are attracted by the wide range of work we carry out for clients. Not only do we work in traditional materials, like timber, steel and concrete, we have also developed extensive expertise in aluminium and glass as well as in technologies such as “facade engineering” which decreases a building’s carbon footprint. Because of this our staff gain a breadth of experience unavailable to them in similar, but much larger practices in London, Paris, New York or Tokyo.”
