Launch of shotzx.com- a Multi-Sport Website
shotzx.com is owned by @saumilzx (saumilzx.com). It will be based on the unified sports theory @saumilzx has been developing- to apply concepts of one sport to another. Eventually, the goal is to be able to innovate and invent new variants in sports, keeping the traditions intact.
Mumbai, India, March 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Saumilzx.com is pleased to announce the launch of shotzx.com, a website dedicated to unifying sports with a common system of nomenclature and methods to learn/co-relate various aspects of different sports.
Saumil (@saumilzx) is currently in the last phase of completing his next book dedicated to Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar. "The Matters of a Legend, #lessons along Tendulkar" will be released as a Kindle ebook sometime in May 2011. As @saumilzx puts it, it is a book by a fan for the fans. The book is not just for cricket and Tendulkar fans, but is also intended for sports assessment in general, as much of the cricket theory is derived from the "rules of sport." The ebook will be available as an Amazon Kindle format- for use on Kindle, Macs, PCs, iPad, and other mobile platforms.
They hope to feature more books and screencasts related to various sports, besides cricket. Chess, cue-sports, racket sports- table tennis, tennis, badminton, basketball and soccer, Olympic style individual events etc.
They are also launching a twitter centric quiz section- with prizes for winners- as eBook vouchers (Amazon to begin with), to encourage use of ebooks. One of the features of their quiz is that the answer may be a one line explanation, not just a number or name of player, as sports trivia. They will also give the answers upfront, in an encrypted pdf document, so that contestants can verify their guess with their views- when they disclose the password after a contest.
