My Sports Dreams and Restaurant.com Help Teams Raise Money and Donors Dine Out
Campaign donors receive $50 in free dining at over 18,000 restaurants nationwide.
Bedford Hills, NY, March 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- My Sports Dreams is teaming up with dining discount website Restaurant.com to give those donating to select MSD fundraising campaigns a little more bang for their buck.
Earlier this spring, My Sports Dreams rolled out a new campaign offer to the youth and college club markets that gives potential donors access to $50 in free dining coupons from Restaurant.com. The coupons are only available online, and to be eligible, donors must contribute $25 or more to a team’s campaign.
“This Restaurant.com offer is a win-win for everyone involved,” said Chris Weiller, My Sports Dreams Vice President of Youth Marketing and Partnerships. “The organizations doing our campaigns still maintain a “sales-free” fundraiser, but their supporters now have a little extra incentive to contribute.”
After making their donation, recipients can log on to Restaurant.com and choose to redeem their free dining in the form of gift certificates to more than 18,000 local and national restaurants throughout the country – a factor that My Sports Dreams hopes will boost more than just their clients’ profits.
“In tough economic times, dining out is often one of the first luxuries eliminated from a family’s budget,” said Weiller. “This promotion will hopefully spur donors to spend more dollars at the participating establishments, and that helps everyone in the community!”
While the new campaign’s initial launch encompassed only the youth and college club markets, My Sports Dreams plans to expand it to the high school market in late March.
