Morton Grove Election Update -- Action Party "Open House" Event a Success
Morton Grove, IL, March 24, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Irish eyes were smilin' at the Morton Grove Action Party's St. Patrick's Day Open House Event.
There was a full house at the Action Party's Election Campaign Office (5836 Dempster) on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2011. Residents came out to meet Trustee candidates Shel Marcus, John C. Thill, and Maria S. Toth and toast the holiday. Guests and Action Party supporters alike wore something green or orange in keeping with the theme of the evening -- "Think Green - Vote Orange!"
Morton Grove's municipal election will take place on April 5, 2011. Early voting has begun. Residents may vote early at Village Hall, 6101 Capulina, in the Mayor's conference room on the 2nd floor between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday through Saturday, until March 31.
Registered voters may also check the Cook County Clerk’s website at www.cookcountyclerk.com/elections/voterprofile/Pages/default.aspx to verify voter registration, find their polling place (to vote on April 5), and see a sample ballot (when available).
The Action Party, a grassroots Morton Grove-based political party, prides itself in the fact that its members are non-partisan – Democrats, Republicans, and Independents – who are dedicated to providing the Village of Morton Grove with experienced, independent, and dedicated leadership.
