Wildly Creative Custom Invitations Set the Tone for Fall Events
New Portland, Oregon-based Event Bliss offers imaginative invitations, party services.
Portland, OR, September 21, 2005 --(PR.com)-- The autumn season brings the perfect opportunity to begin planning the numerous special gatherings to come: holiday parties, family gatherings, spring and summer weddings, and perhaps even the exciting announcement of a new baby. Portland, Oregon-based Event Bliss is born just in time to help brides and grooms, businesses, expectant moms and everyday Joes and Janes create inviting preludes to their special events with custom crafted invitations, announcements and creative event ideas. Event Bliss specializes in intuitive design that reflects the client’s unique personal style.
“In today’s chaotic world, weddings, births and other happy gatherings are cherished more than ever,” says Event Bliss owner Marlynn Jayme Schotland. “Having custom crafted invitations and announcements play a key role in getting people excited about what’s to come; they can help enhance that special connection between you, your friends and family in advance of the event.”
Event Bliss fashions invitations for every kind of event imaginable, whether carefree and whimsical, sophisticated and elegant, sassy and bold, or intimate and romantic. After an initial complimentary personal consultation, Schotland goes to work on the design using her imagination to include various papers and materials she feels would appropriately convey the theme or allure of the event. “The biggest trend in invitations continues to be the layered look,” says Schotland, “while popular invitation materials include ribbons, Envelopments™, custom adhesives, eyelets and brads. These embellishments can be easily customized to enhance the individuality of each invitation, and I love working one-on-one with clients to include special touches that really reflect their individuality.”
Schotland founded the company in 2005, after years of working as a newscaster and public relations director. When searching for invitations for her 2001 wedding, she could not find any companies or designers that were able to capture the essence of her or her husband’s style, and so she created her own. She has since designed imaginative, one-of-a-kind wedding invitations for couples throughout the globe, and has recently branched into creating baby announcements. With several years experience planning small- and large-scale business and residential events, Schotland also offers additional event planning services such as creating favors, establishing décor, and designing special touches to help carry the theme of the event from beginning to end.
Working with Event Bliss is like working with a close friend whom you trust knows you well enough to bring out the best of you in your event and your stationery.
