The all-new 2011 Chevrolet Volt, the electric vehicle named the 2011 Motor Trend Car of the Year, is now in stock at Matthews Hargreaves Chevrolet.
Detroit, MI, March 25, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Chevrolet Volt is not only the most advanced plug-in hybrid, but also one of the most fuel-efficient cars available today. Matthews Hargreaves Chevrolet is proud to announce the arrival of the 2011 Chevrolet Volt in its showroom.
The Chevy Volt was named the 2011 Motor Trend Car of the Year, which is one of the most prestigious awards bestowed in the automotive industry. The Chevrolet Volt features a lithium-ion battery pack that produces 149 horsepower and can run for an estimated 36 miles off one charge. To combat range issues, the Volt also has a 1.4-liter naturally aspirated internal-combustion engine that can provide an additional 340 miles. The Volt has a ten hour charge time using a standard 120-volt line, or as little as four hours using a dedicated 240-volt line.
Initial distribution of the 2011 Chevy Volt by started in December of 2010 to dealers on the West Coast and Northeast. The Volt is now on display at Matthews Hargreaves Chevrolet in Royal Oak, Michigan, conveniently located right off of Interstate 75.
