Xcel Energy Wins 2011 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Award

Minneapolis, MN, March 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Residential Science Resources (RSR) is excited to announce its longstanding client, Xcel Energy, was awarded the 2011 ENERY STAR Partner of the Year Award for New Construction by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Xcel Energy’s application received the highest score, competing with many other utilities for the award for its achievements in 2010. Key accomplishments for Xcel Energy last year include maximizing energy savings in both their Minnesota and Colorado ENERGY STAR New Homes Programs, sponsoring ENERGY STAR Trainings for homebuilders, and achieving a high market penetration rate for ENERGY STAR qualified new homes. The Partner of the Year award ceremony will be held on April 12, 2011 at the Marriot Wardman Park Hotel in Washington D.C. This is Xcel Energy’s second partnership award, it also received this award in 2009 for Program Delivery.
