Staples, GreenTech Energy Services' Greenest Customer, Wins Energy Star Partner of the Year

Maple Shade, NJ, March 28, 2011 --(PR.com)-- On March 14th, 2011, Staples Inc., one of GreenTech Energy Service’s “greenest” clients, was awarded the 2011 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Award for Energy Management. This was in recognition of its efforts to maintain the highest standards of excellence in energy efficiency. As part of this effort, Staples has reduced its greenhouse gas emissions, obtained a growing percentage of its energy from renewable resources, reduced waste, and improved vehicle efficiency.

GreenTech Energy Services is pleased to be participating in Staples’ sustainability efforts. Over the past several years, GreenTech has designed and implemented energy savings solutions for over 60 Staples warehouses and distribution centers and 200 retail locations throughout the country. Obsolete lighting that no longer meets Federal energy efficiency standards has been replaced by new technology that cuts energy use and costs, while improving the aesthetics of the buildings.
