The MMO Lifestyle Forums

MMO Lifestyle has begun a “soft” launch with the public release of its internet forums.

Buffalo, NY, February 24, 2007 --(PR.com)-- New online lifestyle magazine MMO Lifestyle is happy to announce that its online forums are now open to the public. MMORPG players (as well as those in the industry) are welcome and encouraged to take a look and participate in their forums.

The forums are rather unique in that there are not just tons and tons of open forums for each and every MMO game available today. Instead, the forums are built around player feedback and what today’s and tomorrows MMORPG player wants and/or needs.

Said by founder Craig “AOR” Richau… “With the number of fan sites, official game forums, guild forums and the like, the online community is already full of such general discussion forums. Though, there is a lack of a centralized location for players to leave feedback and talk about the MMORPG market in general. Both the MMO Lifestyle website (when open) and more specifically our forums hope to provide that. As such, we also hope that it becomes a place for game developers and publishers to visit and see what their customer base is looking for as well.”

With the initial soft launch of the forums, MMO Lifestyle is offering six pointed questions in its “Inquisitor” section of the forum. More questions are anticipated to be released on a weekly basis. There is also a general online survey available in the (where else) surveys and results forum. New and more in-depth topic specific surveys are also planned for the coming weeks and months.

The MMO Lifestyle forums also boast a guild section. Right now this section provides a guild advertising forum (with more guild advertising opportunities to come with the full site launch) as well as a guild “wish list”. The wish list forum is for players to leave feedback and suggestions on what they would like to see as guild mechanics/features in future games as well as the games we all play now.

The full site is expected to make a public debut by the end of April 2007 at the latest. The site will feature the normal interviews, reviews, previews and the like. As well as industry specific articles, guild advertising, other advertising opportunities, guest writers where site members can contribute their own articles for publishing and more.

Craig “AOR” Richau also had this to say. “We are excited about bringing this type of service to the industry and look forward to see how it expands and grows as we take on your suggestions and comments that will help make MMO Lifestyle the site that you want it to be.”
