Alicastro Releases His New Album "SÉ"
The Colombian singer songwriter presents his second album, “SÉ,” to be released on Tuesday, April 5th via iTunes, Amazon and all major digital outlets. His new single “Yo Te Prometo” is already rotating heavily in Central America and will hit radio stations across the US and Latin America in the next few weeks.
Miami, FL, March 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Alicastro arrives with his second musical production, “SÉ,” album produced by George Noriega - (Robi Draco Rosa, Shakira, Ricky Martin), Pablo De La Loza - (Enrique Iglesias) and himself. “SÉ” is an album full of original lyrics, strong melodies and profoundly sentimental stories.
Alicastro says, “I’ve written about a lot of personal events on this album that have emotionally marked my life. The album is also full of light hearted humor and the faith and hope that always keeps me grounded while still allowing me to dream.”
“Pobre Pero Contento” and “Mi Vida” are singles that have already reached the Top 5 on radio stations in Central America and Miami and whose respective videos have also rotated heavily, the first one filmed in Miami by director Milcho and the second by Fish Rodriguez, Grammy award winning director of Calle 13’s Atrevete.
Among the collaborators on the album is Grammy Award winning songwriter/producer Desmond Child - (Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Kiss, Cher) with whom Alicastro co-wrote the song “Mi Vida.” Desmond assured, “All these years in the music business have perfected my ability to pinpoint the birth of a superstar and with this new production Alicastro will undoubtedly attain the same success that all of the artists I have worked with have achieved. The video was filmed in Miami alongside Mexican actress Geraldine Bazan and hosts a very interesting surprise ending.
