A Message of Perseverance

Newark, NJ, March 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- On March 30, 2011 author of Release Your Power, MBA graduate, Motivational speaker and Professor will speak to the students of Essex County College at the event entitled: Never Give up on Your Dreams. The ECC Human and Social Services Program and the Social Student Association will host this eye opening event designed to spark inspiration or reignite passion in students. This event will take place at Essex County College located at 303 University Avenue in Newark NJ between the hours of 9:30am to 12:30 pm.

As a student, it can be difficult to maintain your momentum through your entire scholastic experience. We have all asked ourselves the daunting question of “why am I doing this?” during the midterm or final exam time crunch. The challenges that most students are faced with can soften their competitive edge. However, the best way to sharpen a strong mind is very much the same way you sharpen a dull knife. When iron sharpens iron it increases its ability to work with more precision and excellence. This is the same effect that is needed on the professionals of tomorrow.

Lilisa J. Williams, a former victim of molestation, high school dropout and homelessness, overcame these and many obstacles before becoming the success story she is today. Today, she is a successful business woman, author, coach, speaker and trainer that is an inspiration to all aspiring entrepreneurs, students and motivational speakers.
