Award Winning Maui Jewelry Designer Danny Bushart to Show at Tucson Fourth Avenue Street Fair This Weekend
Danny Bushart brings his “Romantic Jewelry” designs to Tucson this Friday, Saturday and Sunday featuring his “Hawaiian Art Nouveau” themed jewelry sets.
Tucson, AZ, March 31, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Esteemed Hawaii artist Danny Bushart is showing his latest "Romantic Jewelry" collections at the Street Fair. The former “Fourth Avenue Street Fair Best of Show Award” winning artist is featuring his new “Open Heart Plumeria Designs” in sterling silver, 14 kt gold and vermeil (gold plate over sterling silver). Danny’s jewelry booth is #644 and is located adjacent to La Indita Restaurant on Fourth Avenue between East 4th St. and East 5th St.
The Street Fair is being held this weekend, April 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Fourth Avenue Street Fair began in 1970 when Fourth Avenue merchants put tables in front of their stores to attract customers before the holidays. From that beginning it has developed into one of the premier street fairs in the nation, drawing crowds of 200,000 to 350,000 and ranking as one of the top visual arts fairs in the country.
Bushart is a multiple award-winning jewelry designer who is recognized for graceful Art Nouveau designs. “The Art Nouveau influence is evident throughout the work,” says Scottsdale gallery owner and collector Victoria Monize. “All of the designs I have collected from Danny are very graceful floral and leaf designs that are elegant yet easy to wear.”
The inspiration for the Plumeria line came when he and his wife Jan Bushart moved to Hawaii and were given plumeria leis as they landed in the airport. "The scent was amazing!" says Bushart. "My goal was to create a line of jewelry that reflected the aloha spirit and the beauty of the Hawaiian flowers."
Danny Bushart's Romantic Jewelry is handcrafted in sterling silver and 14 kt. gold. Many designs are enhanced with gemstones and fresh water pearls. Bushart is featured in over 40 galleries in Hawaii and at a limited number of juried art festivals on the mainland. Come meet the artist and say “aloha.”
Nationally recognized artist Danny Bushart has been designing jewelry for over 30 years and his work can be found at www.romanticjewelry.com
