AmeriQuip LLC Announces It Has Narrowed New Manufacturing Facility Search
Tomball, TX, April 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- AmeriQuip LLC, Houston, Texas, has announced it has narrowed its new manufacturing facility location search. The product line includes Eagle towable manlifts, Eagle self-propelled trax manlifts, Eagle hydraulic hammers, Eagle trailers, Eagle atlas beam, and Eagle tire covers.
The facility search team at AmeriQuip has narrowed their search for a new location to Waller, Montgomery, Harris, and Comal Counties in the State of Texas. The search team has identified sites within each county as a possible new location for the new AmeriQuip manufacturing facility. This is the newest step in AmeriQuip’s efforts to relocate manufacturing to Texas, home to their national and international offices.
AmeriQuip has begun investigating various facility floor plans, manufacturing equipment, and new manufacturing techniques and procedures. “We are working diligently to have the process wrapped up within 90 days so that we can begin to move our manufacturing and production to the new facility,” said Eric Lindsey, National Sales Manager, AmeriQuip and member of the facility search team. This move would bring 25 to 30 skilled jobs to the Lone Star state at the opening of the new facility with growth up to 100 jobs.
In related news, AmeriQuip has received news of their approval by the Texas Enterprise Fund. The Texas Enterprise Fund provides the state’s leaders with a “deal closing fund” that can be used for a variety of economic development projects. The fund is used to attract new business to the state and also to assist in the expansion of existing business in the state.
