Fit Night Out™ Makes Its Debut in DC
Washington, DC, April 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Sunshine Social Consulting and The Jalin Group announced today that Fit Night Out™ - the ultimate evening of fitness, fellowship and fun, designed especially for women – will make its debut on Thursday, April 14, 2011, from 7:00p.m. to 11:00p.m., at Love the Club, 1350 Okie Street, N.E. in Washington, D.C.
Each Fit Night Out™ event will feature a myriad of organized fitness classes, ranging from yoga and Zumba®, to belly dancing, ribbon dancing, and recreational aerobics. With a paramount focus on physical fitness, Fit Night Out™ classes are designed for women with varying levels of interest in health and fitness – from novice to expert - to encourage exercise in a safe, familiar and fun environment of sisterhood.
Philanthropic partnership is also embedded within the Fit Night Out™ mission. Through providing an evening of fitness and relaxation for women of the metropolitan area, Fit Night Out™ also services the community during each event through fundraising partnerships with non-profit organizations. A dedicated fund raising activity has been incorporated, in which total proceeds will be donated to the designated non-profit partner.
For the inaugural event, Fit Night Out™ will partner with Interstages, Inc., a Washington, D.C. based non-profit organization. At Interstages, low income middle school aged girls study the arts in historical and cultural context, so they begin to connect to history and view arts as both social indicators and tools for social change. Each unique curriculum unit integrates a wide range of academic content and incorporates music skills and experiences.

Fit Night Out™ is the brainchild of Sunshine Social Consulting’s Kendell Renee Kelly, in collaboration with The Jalin Group’s, Lindsey A. Dendy.
Kendell Renee Kelly is an intellectual property lawyer and strategist specializing in the sports and entertainment industries. In addition to her Kendell Kelly, P.C. legal practice, Ms. Kelly has also maintained a private business consulting company, Sunshine Social Consulting, to assist her clients and referrals with moving their ideas into actual, functioning businesses. In 2010, Ms. Kelly expanded Sunshine Social to include training sessions and workshops allowing for a wider breadth of clients to benefit from her services. Ms. Kelly is an avid Bikram yogi and is passionate about health and wellness. Lindsey A. Dendy is Co-Principal of The Jalin Group, a Washington, DC-based, full service, event production company. Ms. Dendy is regarded as a visionary in event design and execution and shares, with partner Jamila Boddie, joint responsibility for the company’s day-to-day operation, corporate growth and expansion.
