Sub Zero Ice Cream Collaborates with Business Gurus
Springville, UT, April 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Sub Zero Ice Cream’s unprecedented “cryogenic technique” coupled with the business gurus at Five Star Franchise has created a phenomenon in the ice cream industry as Sub Zero continues to grow.
Sub Zero Ice Cream was created by software engineer, Jerry Hancock. With a background in chemistry, Hancock was able to use liquid nitrogen to create a truly customizable ice cream experience for his customers. Hancock felt that serving pre-frozen ice cream limited customers' choices. Using cryogenics, the study of very low temperatures, Hancock and his franchisees only need to stock a variety of fresh creams and mix-ins to give customers the ultimate say their frozen desserts. Customers can choose their base, any of the trillions of flavor and mix-in combinations, then watch as their creation is flash-frozen right before their eyes.
Five Star Franchising saw potential in Hancock’s business and the two companies joined forces in 2010. Collaboration with Five Star has helped Sub Zero Ice Cream with logo and store redesign, streamlining their sales process for international expansions and brand recognition, software design, web development, marketing support, franchise sales, financial modeling, business planning and legal and compliance work.
Five Star Franchising has worked with several brands such as Spoon Me, Fairway Divorce, Five Star Holiday Décor, Laptop Depot, Deco Windshield Repair and Five Star Painting. While franchising opportunities are diverse within Five Star, they believe the core of a successful business is replicable.
“Our franchise model attracts entrepreneurs from all walks of life looking to take advantage of our clients’ years of experience in their industry,” Five Star Franchising CEO, Scott Abbott, said. “The model has shown a majority success rate for our franchisors and franchisees.”
Five star hopes to help Sub Zero expand as quickly, if not quicker, than they did with their Five Star Painting Franchise which grew from one store to 70 in three years, tapping markets in four countries.
Sub Zero Ice Cream continues to expand with over 10 locations scattered throughout Utah, Idaho and Arizona.
