FinListics Solutions President, Dr. Stephen Timme Presents "The Hunt for Hidden Value" at the 18th Annual CFO Rising Conference
Atlanta, GA, April 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- FinListics Solutions President, Dr. Stephen G. Timme, was a featured speaker at the CFO Rising Conference held in Orlando, Florida on March 14, 2011. The CFO Rising Conference brings together some of the most powerful and transformative CFO’s in the nation. Influential thought leaders combine to offer insights, strategies, and concrete solutions which speak to CFO’s core challenges.
“The purpose of the conference is to provide new ideas to up and coming CFO’s. In my presentation, I explored a framework used by profitable companies to increase cash flow, and I discussed what a CFO can do to play a true leadership role in setting the direction for change,” explained Dr. Timme. Dr. Timme used case studies to expound upon his proven three-step, top-down approach for increasing cash flow.
An informal poll of the over 300 attendees revealed the majority are focused on growing the top line as opposed to concentrating primarily on additional cost cutting. Surprisingly, the poll showed less than half consistently use financial benchmarking to evaluate performance. Says Timme, “I strongly recommend all companies utilize financial benchmarking since it provides a more structured way to identify potential areas of opportunities and communicate need for change.”
In addition to receiving advice on best practices from thought leaders, attendees had the opportunity to network with peers to learn what they are doing to gain better predictive measures and how they utilize analytics throughout their organizations. The exhibit hall provided attendees a venue to learn new techniques, products, and solutions to benefit their companies.
