Kindle Competition Winner Ditches Free Newspapers for Free Ebooks
The winner of bibliotastic.com’s competition for book reviews and comments is delighted with their Kindle and is looking forward to some more inspiring reading on their daily commute than that offered by London’s free newspapers.
London, United Kingdom, April 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Bibliotastic competition winner Jasper Fotherington-Smythe exclaimed, “I'm the deliriously happy winner of bibliotastic's Kindle competition. It's going to a very good home because I didn't have a Kindle before, although I lusted after one. Now I've realised my dream, I'll cherish it and protect it with my life. In fact, scrap that. From now on it is my life. I shall no longer have to resort to reading free newspapers on my daily commute.”
Mike Dufort, the bibliotastic author on whose book Jasper posted a comment, had this response: “This comment is my payment, nothing more is needed. I'm currently writing a sequel, which I will also give away for free.”
Bibliotastic author and runner up prizewinner Danielle Bruckert wrote, "I think it's great that bibliotastic encourages people to provide feedback on the books they read. Authors crave this feedback and prizes are a great motivator to get the comments flowing - everyone wins, thanks!"
Fellow bibliotastic author and runner up prizewinner Giulietta Spudich added, “It was my pleasure to read and comment on some really creative science-fiction and fantasy books. Thanks to bibliotastic for supporting free e-books! I look forward to reading more inventive fiction on bibliotastic.com.”
Bernard Gerard, co-founder of bibliotastic.com, would like to thank everyone for taking part in the competition: “This has kick-started a wave of reader comments on our books which the authors really appreciate.”
Bibliotastic’s competition for comments ran from 25 January to 8 March. The competition entries can be seen here: www.bibliotastic.com/competition/kindle/contestants
