Imagination Receives Gold World Excellence Award from Ford
Honour awarded at US Ceremony.
London, United Kingdom, April 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Ford Motor Company recognised its 47 top performing global partners of 2010 with the World Excellence Awards, the company’s highest recognition for its suppliers across the globe.
Global communications agency Imagination was among a group of only 15 who received the prestigious Gold Award this month, which recognises the very highest levels of quality, delivery and cost performance.
“We made tremendous progress on the One Ford plan in 2010 and the partnership with our suppliers was absolutely critical in making that happen,” said Alan Mulally, Ford President and CEO.
“Thanks to all of our World Excellence Award winners for the work you are doing to contribute to our mutual success and serve our global customers with the very best cars and trucks.”
As Ford’s second largest global supplier of marketing and communication services, Imagination partners with Ford in the UK and around the world, developing innovative, effective new ways to reach dealers, employees and customers.
Paul MacKay, Chairman of Imagination, The Americas, accepted the award on behalf of the group at the ceremony in Dearborn, Michigan.
“Ford has an incredibly strong brand and a very powerful story to tell,” Mr MacKay said.
“We have been privileged to be their partner for almost four decades and during that time we have enjoyed success that wouldn’t be possible with any other client.
“The insights, bold attitude and acumen of the professionals we work with every day at Ford have allowed us to take our game to a whole new level, and create work that is a source of pride for everyone on our team.”
Tony Brown, Ford’s group Vice President, Global Purchasing, thanked Ford’s supplier partners for their commitment to helping Ford deliver high-quality products to customers.
“The One Ford transformation would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our suppliers,” Mr Brown said.
“Our 2010 World Excellence Award winners have shown an unwavering commitment to excellence in technology, quality and cost efficiency. Congratulations, and thank you for helping Ford serve customers with the best vehicles in the world.”
