"Deejays for Japan" - a Japanese Earthquake/Tsunami Relief Event

New York, NY, April 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Hip Hop Loves Foundation, Jon Quick Select Events in conjunction with Digiwaxx Media, The Def Jam Group, Kevin Powell and Rodney Gill will host “Deejays for Japan” a Japanese earthquake/tsunami relief event.

This amazing party for a cause is slated for Thursday, April 7th, 2011 at Taj (48 W. 21st NYC). This will be a historic day in the NYC club industry as some of the hottest DJs in the night scene will come together in an effort to raise funds for Japan’s recovery from the past month’s horrific events.

Some of the mastermixers who have already decided to volunteer their time for a guest set are DJ D-Nice (RocNation), DJ Snatch-1 (from the Union), DJ CEO (The Influence @Gild Hall), The Legendary Chris Washington (former WBLS DJ), DJ Commish (Def DJs), DJ M.O.S. (Baby I’m a Star @RDV), DJ Siba Siba (Co-founder, Hip Hop Loves Foundation) and event’s creator, DJ Jon Quick (ICONS Party Series).

Its being hosted by AJ Calloway (former 106 and Park host, now feature reporter on Extra), Kevin Powell, (renown author and motivational speaker) with a few surprise celebrity guest hosts.

Suggested door donation will be 10.00 and all door proceeds will be going to Japan Center for International Exchange (http://www.jcie.org/earthquake).
