AZEK’s new low-maintenance 5 x 5 Post Sleeve has been re-engineered to fit neatly over traditional 4 x 4 wood posts and not only does the new design ease the installation process, but the wider post sleeve size also provides a more substantial traditional woodworking look.
The enhanced AZEK 5 x 5 Post Sleeve is available in the colors of White, Brownstone, Slate Gray, Clay, Black and Kona and in installer friendly lengths that reduce the need for cutting on the jobsite. The new 5” x 5” post sleeves match all existing AZEK Rail styles and will work well with any AZEK Rail hardware option including the versatile AZEK Gate Hardware Kit which is also new for 2011.
AZEK® Redesigns Rail Offerings for Easy Assembly
AZEK Building Products announces a comprehensive redesign of its AZEK Rail hardware, with improvements that reduce labor and improve aesthetics. Known for its strength and enduring beauty, the AZEK Rail hardware has been re-engineered to reduce parts and assembly tools required, and streamline the installation process.
The high quality 316 Stainless Steel AZEK Rail Hardware package will include all necessary hardware screws, brackets and bits required to complete an AZEK Rail section in a jiffy. The new concealed fastening system also offers a better fit and finish while eliminating unsightly brackets. Furthermore, these hardware improvements do not compromise the strength of AZEK Rail as it has been designed to meet/pass stringent ICC building code requirements.
The new installation process was developed with an easy-to- follow installation manual to ensure that even first time users can install a low-maintenance AZEK Rail easily and securely.
