The Select Group Names Petz Director of Finance

Raleigh, NC, April 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Select Group, a full-service technical recruiting firm specializing in the placement of technology (IT) and engineering positions, announced today the hiring of Brian Petz, Director of Finance in their Raleigh, NC headquarters.

In this newly created role Petz will be charged with managing the entire accounting department, setting the overall financial goals for the company, and regulating the spending, budgets and overall financial health of the organization.

“I’m thrilled for the opportunity to utilize my experience and accounting skills in this position,” Petz said. “My background merging financial data, developing accounting policies and procedures and managing financial statement closings will help me guide The Select Group’s financial needs in the Raleigh, San Diego and Washington, D.C. offices.”

Petz is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and brings fifteen years of accounting and finance experience to the organization. Known for his high attention to detail, leadership capabilities and ability to manage complex integration efforts, he most recently worked as a Revenue Manager at Tekelec and Director of Accounting at Parata Systems.
