The Raptor-L4342 Rack Mount Server provides a robust, cost-effective, scalable platform for a wide variety of applications. The raptor-l4342 includes a CORE RB945G motherboard that includes 4 PCI slots, 2 PCI-Express x1 slots, 1 PCI-Express x16 slot, and on-board Gigabit Ethernet. Intel® processors up to 3.4GHz Pentium® 4 with an 800MHz front side bus are available and the system can be configured with up to 4GB of DDR2 memory.
Long Product Life
OEM customers require stable platforms to assure compatibility when integrating additional hardware and software to build up complete systems. Frequent, and often poorly documented, changes in consumer PC-based systems can result in manufacturing disruptions and costly re-engineering and re-qualification. The raptor-l Rack Mount Server system is based exclusively on long-life components with rigorous and well-documented engineering change-control procedures.
Scalable Solution
The Raptor-L4342 Rack Mount Server platform can be configured to provide varying levels of performance and price. The basic product includes a 2.9GHz Intel® Celeron® D processor, 256MB of RAM, a single 80 GB SATA drive and a CD-RW/DVD ROM drive. The higher performance standard configuration includes a 3.4GHz Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor, 512MB of RAM, a single 160GB SATA drive and a CD-RW/DVD- ROM drive. OEM customers can add application-specific cards, increase CPU speed and/or memory and add additional drives to tailor the system for their specific requirements.
