Bryce Cullen Publishing Releases Award-Winning Poet Melissa Carl's Latest Collection

Alpine, NJ, April 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Pushcart nominee Melissa Carl has been writing poetry for over 15 years. In 2001 she participated in the poetry workshop of the former U.S. Poet Laureate, Billy Collins, at Southampton College. Her prize-winning work has appeared in various regional and national publications, both in print and online.

She published her first poetry collection, Proof, in 2005. Her newest offering, Brutal Allure, was just released internationally by Bryce Cullen Publishing. A stirring journey through mind, body, and soul, the collection of 44 edgy, highly stylized pieces showcases Carl's commanding voice and bares her intriguing and articulate psyche.

Melissa will be doing a joint reading and signing this Saturday, April 9, at 6:30 PM at Ahh, Coffee!, a luxurious albeit laid-back coffee bar and art gallery located at 1015 Bay Ridge Ave in Annapolis, Maryland.
