Tumaini International Ministries Walk for AIDS Orphans in Kenya
Walk for the Kids on May 21 from 9 to 11:30 am at Millikan High School in Long Beach, CA will raise funds to support AIDS orphans in Kenya.

When: Saturday, May 21 from 9-11:30 am.
Why: Tumaini International Ministries currently supports over 1150 AIDS orphans in the Machakos region of Kenya, East Africa. Currently there are over 1.9 million AIDS orphans in Kenya alone. This organization partners with guardians of the children to provide support in order to keep the child in a family setting continuing through high school or the equivalent vocational training. The goal for the walk is for 500 walkers to raise $15,000 which will provide to support 50 AIDS orphans for one year.
What: Walk a mile -- change a life! This is a non-competitive one mile walk to support AIDS orphans in Kenya. Participation fee is $35 per person which includes a t-shirt and provides education, healthcare, food and clothing for one child for one month. Special family price of $70 includes two t-shirts, additional t-shirts are available for $5 each. Carnival games and more are included in the tax-deductible fee. Pre-registration is available now on the website www.tumainiinternational.org.

Tumaini International Ministries, Inc. is a non-profit Christian organization founded in 2001 and incorporated in the State of California as a Religious Corporation under Section 501(c)3. The US headquarters is located in Lakewood, CA. The ministry was registered to operate in Kenya as Tumaini International Organization in 2003. Tumaini International Ministries is completely funded by individuals, churches, businesses and community groups who want to reduce the suffering caused by the AIDS pandemic in Kenya, East Africa.
