Yuri's Night Live is "Go For Liftoff"

Yuri's Night Live is powered by the online sharing platform Posterous, and allows visitors to subscribe to the latest updates via email and RSS.

“Yuri’s Night is a global happening, and Yuri’s Night Live allows the hundreds of events held around the world to connect at a single online home,” said Jeffrey Alles, Yuri's Night Digi-Team member, YN's liaison for Posterous and co-creator of Yuri's Night Live. “Highlights from any event will be shared instantly, and we can even autopost to Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and YouTube.”

Yuri’s Night is celebrated annually on or around April 12th, the anniversary of Gagarin’s historic spaceflight in 1961. This year, not only is it 50 years since Gagarin’s flight, but also the 30th anniversary of the first launch of the U.S. space shuttle Columbia, and the 10th anniversary of Yuri’s Night.
