Critically Acclaimed Singer/Songwriter, Tiffany Apan of Poets Labyrinth Productions and Music, Releases New EP
Poets Labyrinth Artist, Tiffany Apan, releases "Heart Song: The Living Room Sessions EP" based on her well-received Living Room Sessions from YouTube.
Gibsonia, PA, April 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Tiffany Apan is an award winning and critically acclaimed recording artist from the United States. Her releases to date include two EPs, one full length album, and three singles in addition to appearing on up to 9 Compilations. Tiffany will add to that on April 18, 2011 with the release of "Heart Song: The Living Room Sessions EP."
"Heart Song" is the first EP that is based on her well-received Living Room Session videos on her YouTube Channel. The Living Room Sessions are typically sessions in which an acoustic or broken down version of a song will take place. The songs can be a cover tune, a "b-side" song, or a more simplistic version of a song off of Tiffany's full length album. Tiffany normally sets these sessions in a living room and sometimes invites guest musicians to participate. The Living Room Sessions EP, includes live audio recordings of some of the songs performed in the sessions.
The five song tracklist on the "Heart Song" EP includes traditional classics such as "Greensleeves" and "Carrickfergus." Original tracks on the EP are "Three Pale Queens," "Heart Song," and "Antarctica." Rockabilly Hall of Fame Musician, Chuck Owston, makes a guest appearance on the songs, "Greensleeves" and "Three Pale Queens." Heidi Engel appears with Tiffany on the song, "Carrickfergus," which is sung as a duet between the two singers.
The three original songs on the EP will appear on other releases in fuller instrumental form. Tiffany Apan, Jason English, and Chuck Owston perform a heavier rock version of "Three Pale Queens" on the forthcoming Bonfire Night (Chuck Owston's project) debut album, "Blood and Thunder." "Heart Song" and "Antarctica" will have fuller instrumental versions on Tiffany's second album, "Elements," which is currently in production.
"Heart Song: The Living Room Sessions EP" will be available at CDBaby, iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, Thumbplay, and other major retailers. The EP will be a digital release, but a limited run of physical copies is planned for later in the year. If you enjoy dark, folk music in a live recording setting, this may be a release worth checking out.
